Bee Friendly Warwick is a local community group with the aim ‘To increase food/water and shelter for ‘wild’ bees and pollinators in general and remove threats across Warwick, through education and specific projects they run.’ To achieve a ‘Bee Friendly Town’ status, so they need to hold a ‘Bee Day Celebration’ and regular events to engage local communities, schools and businesses.
The King Henry VIII Endowed Trust awarded a grant of £1,429, which has helped them funding their amazing new Gazebo and supporting their craft activities at their recent World Bee Day weekend in May. The Gazebo will be a great asset to support Bee Friendly events and activities for many years to come.
