22nd and 23rd June say the inaugural Warwick Pursuits Festival in St Nicholas Park.
Organised by Kate Livingstone, who also organises Leamington’s ‘Art in The Park,’ the festival was a two-day event that focused on History & Literature, Music & Dance, Theatre & Art, and Sports & Wellbeing. The weekend will be filled with live music, food, drinks, workshops, demonstrations, and local information.
As a festival for the Warwick community, Kate, who lives in Warwick, aimed to showcase the unique aspects of the town and provide a platform for the local community to engage with and explore what makes their town special. This included local performers and community groups across a range of activities including music, the arts, history, literature, sport and well-being.
The event was a great success with over 8,000 people attending over the weekend.
King Henry’s was pleased to be in the position to support this new venture until is able to fund itself.
