Following Covid lockdowns, sport and fitness is a key priority for all schools. A modern, safe, all-weather long jump area will give the children an alternative form of exercise and complement their field, trim trail and other sports apparatus.
Not only will all pupils benefit, but also the local scouting groups and sporting holiday clubs who use their facilities, meaning it will be available to the community as well as the school.
The staff and pupils at All Saints CE Junior School thanked the Trustees of the King Henry VIII Endowed Trust for their generous contribution of £5,000 towards the complete renovation of their long jump area.
