Neil Thurley retires as Trustee

Neil was the Trust’s longest serving trustee. In the 46 years since becoming a Trustee in 1975 he has seen the Trust transform from a small charity to the substantial one it is today. He has been a Warwick Town Councillor and Mayor, a church warden at St Mary’s and was a former Chairman of Governors at Warwick Independent Schools Foundation. Before retirement he held the post of Principal Surveyor at Warwickshire County Council.

The Trust’s Chairman, Michael Peachey, commented that “Neil has been very much the corporate memory of the charity with his knowledge of the charity, its beneficiaries and the town of Warwick. His experience will be much missed by my fellow Trustees and we would like to thank Neil for his many years of service to the charity and generally to the community of Warwick.”
